As we age we don’t generally want to release in a cathartic way. Yet we have a need to unknot tight muscles, to allow over-thinking to fall away, to give our bodies and souls a chance to unwind. In turn, we can release pain in our bodies, release repetitive thoughts and unleash fresh physical and emotional energy. A well-spring opened.
In this Sit Walk Dance playlist we practised ‘releasing’ and came up with a whole list of other words that might help us. Shedding, surrender, liberate, awaken, gentle, soften, just be, laughter, flop, let go, Prosecco!!
This is a good playlist to be kind with yourself, playing with and finding your own edge of release.
